The Test is Over
Now the waiting begins. They told him it could be 2-4 weeks. Of course, we're hoping for two.
Punkin is having a good day again. and the little ones are behaving quite nicely, almost like we've trained them :)
This weather has my flowers so confused, the tulips are gone, the roses need to be cut back and it's so hot outside I can hardly breath! The photo above is from 4-5 weeks ago. Now they're gone, only the leaves remain and my hostas have come up.

Testing
Phil has testing tomorrow for a possible job. It's an activity physical for the interview he had last week, sounds promising so if anyone is reading this, please send up some prayers cause unemployment has officially run out.
We'll be ok but that little bit of extra money helped a lot.
Punkin is doing good, she has good days and bad just like a little old person. She's my ole girlie and I'm already missing her puppy days!

Another Stormy Evening

Punkin had another good day! I can sure relate to her aches and pains. My back has been giving me fits! I can't stand for very long anymore and it's just so aggravating!
I am watching a storm come up from the west, Dusty on my lap, Sadie laying beside me and Punkin in front of the air conditioner vent, guess the poor baby is having a hot flash! She is such a great dog! Can you tell I love my furbabies!?
Phil has a chance for a job tomorrow, he was called in for a test and initial interview with a local company. I hope he gets something soon, cause unemployment is running out very soon!
It has become very quiet outside, not a good sign, there are tornado warnings all around us and there are supposed to be more storms after midnight. I think I'm gonna go nap.
and for anyone interested, God and mother nature has nothing to do with all the storms. Does the prince of the power of the air mean anything to anyone? He knows his time is drawing near and he's putting up a fight!

Punkin
She's a sassy girl tonight. Dusty has her spot on the sofa and she's bummed. I keep telling her not to get down, but since she can't hear, oh well, I think you see where I'm going with this....Another good day at the palace. God is good and everything takes care of itself. Sending up prayers of protection tonight for my loved ones in the path of this new storm... and more prayers for all the loss suffered these past few weeks in Alabama and Missouri and now Kansas. I really question why these horrible things keep happening, especially to innocents, like that little baby missing in MO. Then I remember, life isn't fair but there is the grace of God that can help you through, if only you reach out to Him.

Today is a Good Day
Punkin seems to be a bit better today. Maybe a weekend of Tramadol and Robaxin helped. She even jumped up onto the sofa! I know it's just a matter of time before the day comes when she crosses that rainbow bridge and I don't see how you can ever prepare yourself to lose someone that you love so much. It makes me cry just to think about it. My boss is great, she completely understands that when the time comes I will need some time off to grieve. Thing is, I don't see how that grief will ever end, at least not right now. I just know, I'm not ready and I'm going to do everything I can to prolong her life, whatever it takes. I've spent the weekend reading and searching for cures and pain relievers. It turns out, I happened to have what she needed on hand.
So, today is good and I'm very thankful!!
